He is a founding board member and Washington representative of Management & Training Corporation, founding board member and vice chairman of the Peter F. Drucker Foundation, founding chairman and board member for Emeritus of the International Youth Foundation, chairman of the board of Biorelease Corporation, member of the board of National Alliance of Business, and founding board member of Weirton Steel Corporation. Richard is a former president and vice chairman of Bethlehem Steel Corporation, general counsel and deputy secretary for the U.S. Department of Labor, president/CEO American Red Cross, founding president/CEO Points of Light Foundation. A graduate of Yale Law School, Richard has been awarded seven honorary degrees and has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
